In the state of Nevada, all business entities must file an annual report including a list of all corporate officers, members and managers. They must also pay a yearly business licensing fee. In other states, these reports may be referred to as statements of information or as annual statements. They all have the same purpose which is to be in compliance with the law by confirming that they are still operating. These reports also give an update or a confirmation of the administrative details about the business including the name of the business, address, management and any pertinent details about the registered agent.
The annual forms will be sent by the Nevada Secretary of State of your registered agent and every business entity is required to fill it out annually. New businesses should note that these reports are completely separate from any initial reporting requirements.
